Love in a Heart

We may never
never conquer hate
never be free from self
never be free from strife

We may never
never stop the wars
never fail to carve niches
never derail to be as God

As the dark soars
above the heart of men
just one man, just one heart
the world would tick again

Love in at least one
That one is amidst all
with no reference or identity
anonymously love lies in all

It matters not
in what proportion
Providence wishing for doom
just one heart saves the day

A little love is enough
To restore home what is lost
No love at all
then, all is lost
